After preparing all the documents required for a Turkey student visa, you must attend the appointment you have made online. You must be present at the Turkish foreign representative offices on your appointment date. If you are late for the appointment in any way or you do not go to the appointment at all, your visa application may be canceled.     How long can I stay in Turkey with a student visa?

    The duration of stay in Turkey varies according to the country of citizenship. However, in accordance with the visa policy, the right to stay for a maximum of 90 days is provided for the last 180 days. The duration of stay in Turkey with a student visa is given by the Turkish foreign representatives. This period is 30 days for citizens of some countries, and 90 days for others. You can find out your visa length of stay after your application is approved. The important point in this issue is that the visa stay periods given for the purpose of studying in Turkey are not sufficient. For this reason, you must apply for a student residence permit after entering the country. If you do not apply for a student residence permit, you must leave the country after the end of your stay.

    Persons Exempt From Student Visa

    In accordance with the Turkish visa policy, foreign country citizens who want to enter the country for educational purposes are required to have a student visa approved by the Turkish foreign representative. Persons specified by the Turkish official authorities may be exempt from this situation. Foreign nationals who do not require a student visa are listed below:

    • Foreign students who have a Blue Card within the scope of Law No. 5203;
    • Foreign students who have completed their secondary and higher education in Turkey and started their undergraduate and / or graduate education on the condition that they do not take a break for more than 1 year;
    • Foreign students who are children of persons legally residing in Turkey with a work permit or residence permit;
    • In cases where foreign students who are registered to a higher education institution in Turkey and have previously received a student visa and resided with a residence permit for educational purposes, they do not require a Turkish student visa.
